About me

I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Tapestry in 1991 and Sunderland University with a Masters in Ceramics in 2021. I work in Darlington at The Weaving Rooms where I have a studio and teach tapestry weaving and from home where I have a small ceramic studio.

My work explores and celebrates the environment and nature, especially the coast and intertidal zone. For inspiration I visit areas of coastline producing sketchbooks and photographs looking at the fragility of macro-algae and other site specific species.
